Bender Ciccotto asked to speak at International Education Conference

Peter Paladino, Wendy Manson and William Palazzolo were asked to speak at the International Education Council Conference held virtually on October 21, 2020. The topics discussed were the issues to be faced by foreign universities during their Compliance Attestation Engagements as a result of the new audit guide issued by the U.S. Department of Education in March 2020. The new guide is effective for audits for years ending after December 30, 2020. We discussed briefly some of the new requirements for the Compliance Attestation Engagement, changes to the financial statement requirements, and the new required supplemental schedule.
