Bender Ciccotto Successfully Assists a Foreign Institution in Obtaining Their Recertification From the U.S. Department of Education
We assisted a large international Education institution in obtaining their recertification from the U.S. Department of Education. Institutions are required to be recertified by the U.S. Department of Education every 3 years to allow U.S. students to obtain financial aid from the U.S. government. There is an exorbitant amount of information required to be submitted along with the school’s policies and procedures. We helped the University gather and submit the paperwork in an orderly fashion to enable the recertification process to go as smoothly as possible. Over the course of time, we have advised the client to make changes to their internal structure and to implement various control procedures to enable the recertification and audit process to move more smoothly. We also advise their international auditing firm in regards to the U.S. GAAP financial statements required to be issued every 3 years.
